All of our piercers are highly trained, caring professionals who take the time to make sure that you, the client, will be satisfied with your piercing experience. With three piercers available, we pierce 7 days a week and there is always someone available to answer any and all of your piercing questions!

Just so you know...

Any company doing business has to carry business insurance. Therefore, if you call another studio they may say that they carry insurance. As far as we are aware of, Kaleidoscope is the only fully insured, certified hospital sterilized body piercing studio in Southwest Missouri! We not only carry regular business insurance, we carry insurance specifically for body piercing. Any studio that is willing to pierce anything other than the piercings listed below for minors is NOT carrying body piercing insurance! There is only one company worldwide that provides insurance for piercers (Lloyds of London)and their rules are the same for everyone. In order to maintain our certification we are tested weekly for proper sterilization by an outside 3rd party company that specializes in this. We hold to the highest standards of hospital sterilization and we guarantee your safety (and our own) by holding true to these rigid rules. As well as carrying body piercing insurance, Qui Qui and Ben are both certified in both CPR and PDT ( Prevention of Disease Transmission)  Also, anyone doing professional piercing must have a license.  Having a piercing license does not guarantee quality or professional piercings.  To obtain a license in Missouri is like obtaining any basic business license.  Not one question on the form is about piercing!    We are much more proud of the fact that all our piercers have either attended and graduated The Gotham School of Professional Body Piercing or were trained by Gotham graduates!  As far as we are aware, Qui Qui and Ben are the only two piercers in Missouri who have actually both attended and graduated a piercing school.  Gotham, formerly known as Gauntlett is considered the highest rated piercing school in the US.  QuiQui and Ben both graduated at their San Francisco studio. 

Important!

You must be 18 years old with a valid state ID to be pierced at Kaleidoscope. Individuals who are at least 14 years of age CAN get certain piercings done as long as a legal guardian is present. We do navels and all ear piercings for clients as young as 14. WE WILL NOT PIERCE ANYONE UNDER 14 in our professional studio although simple earlobe piercings done with ear piercing guns are done on anyone who is old enough to say they want it (6, 7, 8 and above prefferably). If you are at least 15 years old and bring in proper ID and have parental consent we can also do nostril piercings.  People 16 years old can add tongue piercings to the list as well as eyebrows.  Some piercings are not allowed by our Insurance coverage until you are 18 years of age. 

No matter what age you are you will have to prove it by providing proper identification. This does not mean mom or dad just there saying so! This means a valid state ID or drivers license. If you are 14 or 15 , a birth certificate along with a yearbook with your picture and name will do. A school ID along with a birth certificate will also work. Although we do require ID containing a combination of a name, picture, and birth date these can be several differet items like those listed above. Moms and Dads signing for minors will have to show proof of being the parent and will have their ID's photo copied and attached to the minors release form. Misrepresenting yourself as a parent or guardian of a minor is a felony.
